Art subject guides are a good resource to introduce students to art-related disciplines and to show them what the library has to offer. Using Libguides or other programs offers a way to create a guide that's as simple as building a wiki!

Here are some of the features that you can include in your subject guide:

  • RSS feeds--to stay current with art blogs
  • Screencasts--use Jing to create and Screencast.com to upload and link to instructional videos
  • Links to databases and online catalogs
  • An "About Me" section with a link to a librarian live chat
