There is, unfortunately, still an existing perception of libraries as dusty, forgotten institutions, of librarians as draconian and hidebound wardens.

The only way to change them is to be active, to remind people that we do not hoard knowledge, we employ it; that when the future comes, we will be the first there, taking notes.
