It was a natural progression. I have always loved reading, technology, children, and helping others.

After a career in customer service and school administration, I took a break to raise my three spirited children. When my oldest child started kindergarten I was struck by the advantages my children had because they loved to read. I also realized how much I enjoyed playing a role in helping children learn to read.

I would love to see that all children have this advantage. Every child should be read to every day in order to foster a love of reading and learning. It is time to level the playing field.

When not in the library, reading to my children, or reading myself, I love to organize, cook, knit, garden, hike, swim, run, bike, and do yoga.
