The librarian can help you decide. At the public library, 21st Century Librarians are doing more than just handing out answers. Let's face it, these days most of us can find "answers" on the internet. But, librarians are helping patrons become information literate by teaching them to:
- access information
- evaluate information
- critically analyze different points of view
- understand issues surrounding information
Even patrons who don't come into the library can benefit from the library's website, which often includes tutorials and librarian-created pathfinders for frequently-asked questions. |
