School Librarians can work with parents in order to provide support for the students outside of the classroom.

This might take the form of workshops on Technology or Research Methods, which would enable the Parents to be able to understand first hand what their children are doing in school.

For younger students, it might be a class to encourage parents to read aloud to their children by demonstrating story-telling techniques.

My goal is to keep parents involved and part of the learning process.
